Menus

 

Children grow and thrive best when they eat well. I provide home-made, home-prepared healthy, balanced and nutritious meals and snacks for the children in my care. I ensure portion sizes are appropriate for the age of children, & I am happy to discuss a child’s individual requirements. Information on allergens can be provided on request.

Breakfast

Breakfasts include; cereals, crumpets, toast, fruit, toasted muffins and toasted tea cakes.

Lunch

Lunches include; wraps, sandwiches, pasta dishes and omelettes, followed by a healthy dessert such as; fruit and custard, yogurt or homemade banana cake.

Tea

Teas include; casseroles, stews, pasta bakes, chilli with rice, jacket potatoes and homemade pizza, followed by a healthy dessert such as; fruit kebabs, yogurt, rice pudding or homemade cake.

Snacks & Drinks

I serve snacks twice a day (mid morning and mid afternoon) that are nutritious, with little or no sugar and salt. Snacks include; fruit, breadsticks or pitta bread with hummus, crackers and cheese with tomato, yogurt, rice cakes. I provide only healthy and safe drinks that are protective to teeth, including cows milk and water.
